Backseat Driver
Well meant intentions,
implicit licence to intrude.
Carefully guided
around life's pitfalls,
wrapped in bubble wrap.
Watching the world pass
from behind the safety rails.

Constant navigation,
backseat driver
directing every gear change.
And all the time
you think you're helping.
