Thank you
My expectations
at an all time low,
I just wanted a
thanks, a smile.
I still love you,
and that's enough.
Instead, you took
a foil-wrapped
chocolate bunny
from the cupboard
and hurried outside
to hide it beneath
an overturned pot.
And I couldn't
help but forgive
you for forgetting
her at Christmas.
