A Creative Retreat
The ocean's steady heartbeat
nourishes creativity,
ideas percolating as surf bubbles,
retreating and entreating
an endless charm offensive.
Blues and greys dance across waves
in a mottled reflection
of the clouds scudding far above,
and in the abandoned chaos of nature
lies peace and inspiration.
