What the world needs
With a gentle grip,
she turns you from panoramic vistas

- mountains, oceans,
and meadows of wildflowers -

until you see the chaos
and carnage
we dismiss as
human nature.

Peering up through her lashes,
head tilted,
she whispers

'What they need now is love.'

And you wonder who she is
to assign you
the impossible.
