This Month Just One Too
This Month Just One Too

It looks like there is only going to be one Short Story for me to write this month too. After all, the WDC prompt is the only one I have gotten so far this month. And with it being the sixth of November, I don’t think there will be any more. It’s still possible for the second one to show up, but it hasn’t yet, and it probably won’t.

There have been a few other months when I have had only a couple of weeks to write a Short Story with this contest. So, there could still be a prompt for this contest too. But I don’t think that’s going to happen. Why don’t I think that? It’s because there wasn’t a prompt last month. There probably won’t be one this month either.

Whether there’s a second Short Story this month or not, there is only one so far. It’s the WDC Short Story. And that’s the most important Short Story anyway. No matter how many other short stories that I may have, that’s the only one that I really need to get done.

This short story prompt came out a few days ago. It didn’t take me too long to remember a Short Story that went along with this prompt. In fact, I had several to choose from. I picked this one because I closely connected to this prompt than the others did.

Today was a very typical first day off from work aka a Monday. My brother and I had a lot that we needed to get done today. Unfortunately, it too us most of the day to do it. As a result, I didn’t get too much written on this WDC Short Story. Don’t get me wrong. I did have a little bit of time to work on it. It just wasn’t that much time.

I got the opening paragraphs about this Short Story that don’t go into the Short Story. Just use them to help me write the Short Story. Usually, they do help me. But sometimes they don’t. From the ten sections/parts single sentences for this Short Story it looks like they may help me some, but it’s not carved in stone yet.

What do I mean by that? It means that the parts/sections
For this Short Story do match the opening paragraphs. but that doesn’t mean they will remain that way. Once I get started on a Short Story, sometimes it doesn’t end the way that I want it to end. Sometimes it does, though.

Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten too much of this Short Story written yet. In fact, I haven’t started physically writing this Short Story. All I have done are the opening paragraphs and the single sentences. Will start on the Short Story itself tomorrow, I hope.
