Many guns
Too many gun deaths
politicians do nothing
But offer useless prayers for the dead
Streets covered in red blood


must include color


Autumn leaves
bid summer goodbye,
transforming purple mountain
majesty into flaming display--
red and gold.





Snowflakes dance
across the night sky.
Soon, Mother Earth greets the dawn
beneath the comforting fluffy duvet
sparkling white.

Sidlak is a poem of five lines. The first four lines have structures of 3, 5, 7, and 9 syllables respectively. The fifth line has no limitation on length, but must reference a specific COLOR in some way, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
