I wish it were so simple,
Dressing up so cheerily.
Stating with such loving words
Dancing around so merrily.

All I want for Christmas is you -
What I wouldn't give for that.
All of the toy soldiers
with their uniforms and hats.

Angel wings would be needed here,
For you are on a different plane.
And the holidays begun
are no longer just the same.

I miss you sister, with all my heart,
In action, deed, word, and thought.
All I want for Christmas is you.
Your memories are all I've got.
