spider webs

at times it seems
we live in a world

where everything
is being secretly manipulated
by unseen forces

weaving a spider web
of deceit, lies, hatred
and paranoia

and we are caught
up in the spider web

of unseen secret
puppet masters
the true masters
of the universe
