We had one hell of a thunderstorm, with downpours of rain, claustrophobic wind, and sirens blaring. This morning, there was more rain, patches of blue sky with a pinkish tinge, the sun peeking through, and dark clouds looming. Florae were drenched, and trees blossomed, bursting forth in the morning waning light. Birds chirped, grasshoppers chirped, and fat robins were out looking for worms. The gently lapping waves onto pristine beaches and rivers were flowing. We were lucky.
