How Pathetic [08-06-01]
Well, I must honestly say that the Tropical Storm that hit us yesterday (1 mph from being called a "hurricane") was the most pathetic thing I have ever went through. The winds that reached this town were not even as strong as the ones in Portales, and the rain was about the only impressive thing. The power DID go off a few times, and my cable kept going off every other minute (which got annoying, cause I had to reset the cable modem). I must really say, that I have seem THUNDER STORMS with more destructive force behind them. How sad. I was hopeing for quite a show. :(
