Sunday... and a Mourner
Today is the 18th of August. In four
days, it will be the first year anniversary of my
aunt's death. She was only 31. She left behind
a young daughter...

I was among those who were caught
off-guard by the announcement that my aunt
had passed away. I had just seen her a few
weeks before God took her, and she was
halthy enough to out in a wheelchair near her
home in Damansara, Malaysia. IN fact, it was
a rare day for her to come out.
My aunt comes from a Buddhist family.
She was among the youngest in her family,
and my maternal grandmother was hopeful
that the union between my uncle and her
would produce the long-awaited son.
Unfortunately, that didn't happen. She did give
birth to a beautiful and lovely child who was
my maternal grandparent's joy during their
golden years... Hmm... That just sparked off
another idea...

In any case, we weer all shocked to
hear she passed way. God works in
mysterious ways. My mother's younger sister-
in-law gave birth to a boy shortly after she
passed away. The baby is quiet and yet
naughty too, at the same time. I wonder if my
aunt was reincarnated...
