"Price tags on hugs"
Oh YEAH

I've just heard Big Sugar's Diggin' A Hole. A favorite song cranked up as loud as the stereo will go and with max woofer on. Life doesn't get any better than that.

These are some other songs that I love but haven't gotten around to owning yet...

Wonderful by Everclear
I Wish You Well by Tom Cochran.
Wild Child by Enya
Dire Maker by Led Zeppelin
The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You by Brian Adams
Bright Eyes by Art Garfunkel
Brown Sugar by the Stones.
Some Guys Have All The Luck by Rod Stewart

There are lots more.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends and nieghbors.

While I'm at it...

God Bless America

I just want you folks down there in the Land of the Free to know that many of us up here in Happy Beaver Land are thinking of you guys. There are many American flags flown with respect up here. You are not alone.

Sometimes I feel I don't fit in...most times really. Here I am at a site for those with a passion for reading and writing...and I kinda feel like I've just entered a movie theatre long after it's already started.

I write...I'm addicted to it...but I read very little. In the past I enjoyed nonfiction historical, reference or "how-to" books. People exchange author's names with awe here. Most of the names I hear are familar to me but unless they've written something about WW11 or building a treehouse, I probably haven't read them. That's slowly changing. I enjoy reading other's journals...peeking into their private lives. There's lots of pain out there...but also lots of love.

I've thought about keeping several journals. One just for my happy stuff...one for the sad...and one for everything else. If I did that I'd have to get rid of two more items though. I didn't enjoy it when my upgrade ran out and I had to toss out a lot of stuff. I purposely let my upgrade run out to discourage my writing addiction.

This computer if all frigged up again. You name it...it probably doesn't work. It was fixed and upgraded about 7 months ago...$600 worth...new this and new that. The repair bill before that one was $300 or so...$200 or so before that. For not having many moving parts, this thing goes through parts faster than my shitty little car.

I haven't been getting upset or bothered when yet again, something dies on this thing. I say to myself..."Great...I wont be writing if such and such a thing goes." Then when such and such a thing does go...I muddle on without it. I am so addicted to this site.

But I do miss the "back" and "history" buttons most of all.

I better go...I'm starting to depress myself. I need another music fix...something by Shania Twain or ZZ Top should do nicely.
