Okay, so I was thinking today about Joan of Arc. She's always been one of my hero's even though she's a Christian and I'm really, really not. She stood up for what she believed to be true and I respect and admire that. Plus, any woman who can wield a weapon and protect herself is definitely in my good books.

So it got me thinking: Who are my heroes?

So I present to you a list of people. Some are real, some are book/movie/television show characters, some are mythological figures and some are who the hell knows what. No one but me will be interested in this list, but who cares? This diary is for my pleasure after all. (They are in no particular order.)

Anyone else picking up on the feminism vibe here? Yep, there's a whole bunch of powerful chicks in that list.

I should probably explain who some of these people are right? Some are sort of obscure, esp. if your not a mythology/history buff like me! Oh well, if you wanna know just ask me! I can't be bothered ranting on about them for half an hour unless someone actually cares.
