The Next 48 hours

In the next 48 hours, I will finish packing up, load the van, try and figure out finances, go to church, talk to my mom, spend time with my closest friends....and most likely cry some more.

That began last night, when for the first time since I moved here, I got a tour of the city. I saw the fountains, I got a quarter from fountain dipping, I sang Good Riddance, I learned what a shuttle cock was, and last but not least, I got a bite of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.

I also got a lot more than that. I got to see the things that my friends here used to do. I got to spend time with them, and the greatest thing of all, I got hugged by a mom. Something I oh so desperatly needed Yesterday.

Today, it is packing, moving, cleaning, writing a letter or 5.....and whatnot. Hopefully some time in the pool, and some r and r.

Please pray for my friends and I as we leave for New York on Monday. I will post after I get there, and let ya'll know we're safe.
