Small talk

Okay, so after indulging in a little miracle pill called Ambien, I slept for almost 10 hours last night. And woke up feeling like I had not slept at all…..and I felt hung over, which we all know can happen after taking a pill like that. But at least my body got some rest.

I sat here at my computer for quite sometime last night, finishing burning cds for everyone. I’ll tell ya, my dad thought that having a cd burner was the stupidest thing I could have ever done. UNTIL he realized that I could save him over 100 bucks on burning these cds for him…….otherwise, he would have had to buy them all himself. :) So, you see, they aren’t all that dumb.

My prayer basket is growing by the day here, and I thought it was supposed to do down, you know? But, I am not complaining. I am a thousand miles away from a lot of people that I care about, and If I can’t be there to hug them, I can at least pray for them. People can always use prayers, you know? I know that praying for me is the best thing that anyone can do for me. And a hug thrown in can really take hurt away too. Or at least comfort it.

At this moment, I am typing this, and listening to SWAP. I love it. And it is truly a reminder of my friends. By the way, to any of my Missouri friends who are reading this, remember when I first moved there and I was always talking about things in New York? Well, I am finding myself doing that here, about Missouri. Like, for example, this morning, when I got up, my dad was watching a Forensic Science special, and it was about Jesse James. And how he was buried in Clay County, Missouri. I was like, Dude! :) Kinda funny how that happens.

Anyway, just wanted to let ya’ll know I think about you. Hope everyone is having a good day, and getting blessed! :)
