The Witches' Cauldron
THE WITCHES' CAULDRON

Stir me a spell,
make the best witch tell,
the story o' goblins
as they weave a frightful
tale.
Of course, it will be eerie
so mix a
pint of black-adder's tongue
add vampire's eyes
and snake's skin,
an evil touch of salt
without fail.

Stir, stir.
Tell me where the grave-diggers'
party is to convene,
what they've done
and where they've been.
The spell-book must be looked at,
when the moon is full,
as in its glow flies a bat.
The weather must be right,
for Witch's Brew drank
on Halloween Night.

Screaming the words,
HOCUS POCUS
make the cauldron
boil with trouble,
hide your children
as the potion
does simmer and bubble.

At last,
when the brooms fly
as the witches all take to the sky,
"ThE CAuLDroN HaS A MOsT UnUSUal
BReW!," they all cry.
