:: Introducing: Documents ::
With our new Document item, members* can upload MS Word DOC and
Adobe PDF files directly into their Writing.Com portfolios! Both of these
file types provide writers with the most flexibility available in formatting their
writing. PDFs and DOCs are also the best files for printing work and the
formats with which most agents and publishers prefer to work.

When left rateable, Document items can be rated and reviewed, providing
you with feedback from readers and fellow writers. They also have E-XGC
content ratings and can utilize PassKeys!

Document items can be kept private, for your eyes only and can serve
as a convenient way to backup the files you keep on your hard drive. With all
of the new viruses, you can never be too careful safeguarding your writing.
Hard drives can crash. Floppy disks and CDs can be lost! Writing.Com's
database is mirrored across 4 high-end servers and backed up more than
5 times each day!

As each Document is uploaded to Writing.Com's server, it is scanned for
viruses. The server's virus scanner checks for updated virus definitions every
hour to ensure the most protection available.

* Writing.Com Professional Membership portfolios can house up to
100 documents of up to 1 Megabyte each. Enterprise Memberships can
