"Special Delivery" has been accepted into the Best Short Story category of the Mystery Writers of America's 2005 Edgar Awards. It's fun to be competing with authors like Joyce Carol Oates, G. Miki Hayden, Edward D. Hoch, and Stephen King. I don't expect my story to win, or to even be nominated, but I'm grateful for the exposure.
