Melissa Etheridge
I shouldn't be making this entry as I try to get ready for bed.
Bad idea.

I'm proud of her, she inspired me.
But she reminded me that Jean never had a chance. I'd have given anything a year ago to make Jean's survival chance as high as most breast cancer patients (80 percent).
ANd that made me cry on MOnday.

Today it makes me wish Jean were here, because Jean would have loved it.

The reality is that I'm torn between loving what Etheridge's appearance (AND performance which was stellar) made me feel, and hating what it made me feel.
