I really love this man

Robert likes to load his power chair on the lift on the back of the van and go to the grocery store. He trolls through the aisles looking at prices and seeing what is available as he visits with people who work at the three stores where he usually "shops."

Today he made a trip to the store where our pharmacy also is. When he returned, he opened the door and called, "Close your eyes until I tell you to open them."

I closed my eyes, and when he motored beside my chair, he said, "Okay, open them." He laid a bouquet of a dozen roses in my lap. Now, this is a man who does not buy flowers. When he has in the past, except for very few occasions, he bought me a plant to go in the yard.

"I thought you needed something special," he added.

I placed the roses in a vase and set the vase where I can see the roses almost constantly.

Oh, yes, I do love this man.
