A swim, a good friend, a hug
What a difference a day can make is a cliché but a true one.

Jacque is visiting in the city area as she house-sits for a friend, hers and mine. We went swimming at the health club today (the one to which my son Bob and his wife Brenda gave us a membership). The swim relaxed and helped relieve stress so much. Then I told Jacque about my melt down last night and started crying again. She understand so well. We had lunch on a happier note. When she left me, she left me with a good hug.

Then I got some good news some someone else special to me. The news finished brightening my day.

A swim, a good friend, a hug, and good news - ah, yes, what a difference a day can make.

Hope I always remember to hug those I love. Maybe they have needed one badly, and I have failed to give one. I pray God will allow me to keep my eyes open for the opportunity to lighten someone else's load.
