Comida por jueves noche.

Alrighty, apparently most everyone I know thinks I'm dead or something.
My mom called this morning and woke me up, freaked out and worried about me. I'm not dead, okay?

This weekend was interesting, I spent most of it with Tyler and Amanda. However, on Saturday, we went to the International Fiesta that was on campus. It was so kickass. It was fascinating to see so many things from so many different cultures, ya know? I want to be surrounded by things like that whenever I finally break free from here.

Then Saturday night Tyler cooked for us. He cooked hamburger helper. Everything was fine. I worked on my paper, I got tired, fell asleep on his couch. Woke up at almost 3, my stomach was hurting sssoooo bad. It felt like someone had punched me in the stomach and their fist was still there at full impact. I felt really bad just from that pain. I have never had it feel quite THAT bad, even when I've had too much spicy food. I had eaten like 3 packs of crushed red pepper that day, but it was much earlier, and if it was going to affect me like that i t should have muce earlier.

Last night, I fixed taco casserole for Tyler. He had no formal draining device, I used his pasta pot lid. I think he thought that I was just being picky. I asked him if he drained the meat the other night, since he didn't have a coulnder (drainer) and he said no. I told him that I got sick from that. I didn't tell him that's the worst I've ever gotten sick from eating something practically. I don't see how anyone could fix ground beef and not drain the grease... but some people don't. I like drain it and wash it. It's not me just being a picky bitch, it's so I don't get sick.

But, this is what has amused me. I've cooked for them so much more often. And honestly? Tyler's not made anything that I thought was wonderful. He cooked eggs one morning and even those I didn't like. Amusingly, I think I'm a better cook than the gay man. It's kinda funny. So far, I've not met a gay man that can COOK decently. I've met plenty of lesbians who DON'T and CAN'T cook. The only person here that I've met that can cook is Mike and he's bi. Apparently bi people CAN cook. It just amuses me. And I'm just playing, so don't get offended.

Anyway, continuing with the cooking subject. We're having a dinner party tomorrow. Tyler's making like artichoke/spinach dip or something for an appetizer. I'm making the main dish, chicken alfredo. And Amanda's making the dessert which is something like stuffed chocolate and peanut butter baked bananas.

Fun times. I've never made chicken alfredo, I'm just gonna wing it, lol.

I've got to work on my spanish now.
