"Just calling to thank you, again, for this lovely vacation, son."

"You're welcome, Ma."

Strained silence. Then, "You know I'm only hard on you because I want you to be the best, don't you?"

"Yeah, Ma."

Awkward pause.

"Well, there's a sunset going to waste. I'm heading to the beach."

"Have fun, Ma."

Michael hung up, then turned his attention back to the man seated on his couch. "She's in Hawaii for another week, so take your time, once you've flown over there, and do it right." He handed the man a photo of his mother, and an envelope stuffed with money. "Make it look like a robbery gone bad."
