Empty or full, shiny or a little in need of washing and sometimes just cracked!

Yesterday, I did what I always do when I'm in one of my bitch madam on heat moods; I stepped onto the scales. Normally I don't bother, but it sort of puts the icing on the cake when I'm feeling low. Some may call it masochism. As usual, I don't like what the scales tell me so have made a promise to lose at least two pounds by next Saturday. If I succeed I shall treat myself; if I fail I won't tell anyone. lol

The wedding evening was pleasant enough. Except I wish they hadn't put bowls of peanuts on the tables. Then I wouldn't have been tempted to eat something hard and chewy. Then my tooth wouldn't have cracked. Is it Sod or Murphy who decides this should happen at a weekend when dentists are closed? Not just any old weekend either, but another Bank Holiday, which means nowhere is open until Tuesday at least. Maybe it's fate deciding to help with my effort to lose weight because until I get this tooth fixed I think I may have to live on liquids. Thanks fate - I'm sure you could have assisted in a kinder way. Anyway, most of the liquids I like are very calorific!
