Happy Birthday Daddy

Late again but still the second of December on WDC I believe. My dad is 86 today. Quite an achievement don't you think?

No big celebrations but I bought him a new, light-weight vacuum cleaner for his birthday. lol Well, the one they have must be an antique.

My son has taken our Aussie guest out tonight to his work's Christmas pub crawl. God, I hope the poor girl doesn't have to carry him in from the taxi. He's a BIG boy. lol I'm so tired but can't settle until they get back.

What is it with today's youngsters? They're so cool and laid back while we parents just fret and stress and find life so much more difficult than them. I WANT TO BE YOUNG AGAIN.

Oh well, another glass might soothe the troubled mind. Tomorrow is another day.
