J.R.R. Tolkien and Issac Asimov
3 January 1892 - 2 September 1973 Tolkien used his professorial knowledge of languages to create amazing depth to a realm he called Middle Earth.

Issac Asimov was born in Russia, 2 Jan 1920; His name is and shall forever be linked to Science Fiction (and Science Fact!) Unfortunately he passed from our sight in 1992. May I be forgiven for not having the foresight to honor him upon the anniversary date of his birth. I must do something later on in the month so he is more than a footnote.
