Another Contest

I miss not having Second Chance available for people to read, I actually received some very good tips and advice on that story, but once the contest it's entered in is over, I'll be able to put it back up on the site!

Speaking of contests - my university just sent me notice of a new contest for scholarships. I have to write a story, aimed at 9-12 y/o's, more than 200 pages and less than 400 pages. I started it last night and have to have it completed by the end of March. If I can do well I will receive scholarship monies. If I do really well the book will be published and I will receive scholarship money! Let's hope I can do really well :)

The story had to be based in the U.S., so I'm basing my story in a small town in West Texas and it will be in the Fantasy genre. I will probably post a few chapters in my portfolio here to get some feedback on it first. Wish me luck!
