Cat Heaven

I didn't go to the vet with the intention of putting "Nellie" down. I was going to have the vet show me how to give her subcutaneous fluid injections because she was urinating so much more than she was drinking.

A lady said, "What a pretty cat," when we went into the clinic, like people always did. I saw the young animals, and I realized that it was time. I think I'll spend the rest of the day crying. She died with her head in my hand.
