Cursed
All I needed was flat tire! Now I'm condemed to stay at home until I can make arrangments for a full set(the rest are going to blow too if I risk it). Oh well, at least I didn't have a job when this happened to me.

Oh! That's right! I did! It was my second night on my paper route when my tire blew out in the middle of the boonies. I had to pull over into a municipal building parking lot and walk two miles into town in freezing weather. And I had to give up my route because I couldn't finish delivering my papers.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm cursed, but then I realize that I don't believe in curses. Curses are for people who give up, people who assume that their destiny is out of their control. I've always assumed that the only time your destiny is out of your control is when you're dead. Until then, you are in control, either directly or indirectly.

My car is out of commission for a few days, and I've probably had the shortest newspaper career in history. Is this a good thing? Maybe. Chances are a fifteen year-old car would have broken down on the road sooner or later. Better a flat now than something more serious later. And after all the time and gas money spent into doing the job, it probably wouldn't be worth it anyway.

So where's my head at now? Looking for something else. The hunt continues.
