Speak
          Speak

echoes with voices
speakers unseen
words unheard
images flicker across
waves undulate unperturbed
no one hears, no one sees,
no one cares.

rebounds excitement, radiates
joy, toy, eat soy, buy more
more, more
soothing whispers trade
advice with the air
speak volumes to no one
dance with dust motes
uninhabited, dead

thread, what he said
her throat crinkles when pressed
thumbs held just so
revert to old tales
xxx-fairy tales unfold
no happily ever after
kisses for the princess
left alone, alone, alone

break, move on to next weeks
tale of woe, adrenaline squeals
flickers cross veins
cranked for relief

speak
