Goggle YOURSELF: Here's Why...
First I read:

For Some, Online Persona Undermines a Résumé
By ALAN FINDER
Published: June 11, 2006
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/11/us/11recruit.html?ex=1150257600&en=4c4dd34471c...

Then I thought... hmmmmmm... maybe I ought to goggle myself?

I discovered there are a lot of other people with my name. That's good - plausable deniability!

Then you got to wonder if you'll have the opportunity to 'prove it's wasn't you'...

About me - Here's a factual link:

Soldier's Mom Has Cool Plan for GI's

NOT ME:

If you want to read the articles I've written that have been published:

Go to: http://www.houmatoday.com
Scroll down the HoumaToday homepage till you see the
"Advanced Search" box...

Then in the Advanced Search box type in "Linda Tabor".

It really never occured to me before now that someone's online persona would be Googgled by potential employers. Duh, what was I thinking?

What really surprised me was my article, Writing.Com: Submissions and Giving away your Rights, showed up on the first page of when I googled myself. Of course, it was the last item on the first page... but still...

A word to the wise: Track and guard your online persona.

Sincerely,
The Critic
