new school
“Bye good luck” it was his last day at his primary school; He was saying good-bye to his friends. Simon was eleven years old, he has dark brown hair with greenie-blue eyes he wasn’t very different to any other school kid well he didn’t think he was anyway. But Simon didn’t want to leave his primary school and go to secondary school, which was funny because he had always hated the primary school he said he could feel something about the new school that he didn’t like. His parents told him not to be so silly and he will settle in once he gets used to it but it was more than that, there was something in his head, something in his head he couldn’t get out telling him to stay as far away from the school as possible.

When Simon got home after school some of his friends came round to see if he was going out. So Simon, Mitchell and Luke went out on their bikes and they decided to go up to there new school it wasn’t far away only about two miles away from Simon’s house.
So they went up there and Simon but only very softly as thought it was whispering in his ear.
“Don’t go don’t go!”
Simon was startled by this voice, which (it seemed) only he could hear, very soft as thought it was a mile away, but whispering to him.
He turned his head to see who was speaking to him; there was no one there only his two friends one on each side of him. Now he was approaching the school at a good speed. Just as he went past the front of the school his bike jolted to a stop his back wheel went half way up in the air as he came tumbling threw the air over the handlebars and landed on the ground. His two companions skidded to a halt to see what was up. Just as they did so a car came swerving round the corner saw Simon in the middle of the road and swerved all around the road narrowly missing his leg. It went past him the driver stopped the car, came out and shouted at Simon
“WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING I NEARLY HIT YOU!”
“Sorry” he muttered as he got up and limped on to the path with his leg in agony.

He could swear that something had stopped him he could feel it over his hands for that split second. Now he knew he really didn’t want to go to that school.

When he got home the door was locked so he got his key out of his pocket that he put in there just before he went out,
“Why did mum lock the door?”
He opened the door went in and shouted
“MUM I’M BACK” … No reply. Simon went up stairs and looked in his mother’s bedroom. No one there, his room no one there now he started to get scared
“Where is she” he thought, he ran down stairs his heart pounding against his rib cage. Then he saw a note on the coffee table:

Simon I have gone out to get some milk we have ran out
I will be back in a little while love mum

“False alarm” he thought to his self his heart still trying to break out of his rib cage.
Since his leg was still in increasing pain he worked on getting the grit out of it. He went up to the bathroom to wash it out. As he was walking up the stairs he saw water spilling down the stairs he rushed up stairs into the bath room… the taps where still on, but surly mum would have remembered to turn the taps off then he started thinking well at least he thought they were his thoughts
“Don’t go” He tried to ignore it this time as he unplugged the tap and whipped the grit out of his scrape he had made with his flannel but then he herd hundreds of voices in his head all saying:
“Don’t go don’t go” Then he thought he could drown them out by putting his music on but as soon as he thought that, music at full blast came blasting out of the speakers in his room he walked into his room slowly and cautiously and shouted:
“Who’s there come out now I know your there!”
“Its usss” Simon was getting scared now he decided to go down stairs and watch TV until his mum comes home then suddenly the music stopped there was someone talking down stairs and his dog Rex started howling. Simon now feeling worried and nervous at the same time crept down stairs then he looked into the corner of the room-where the noise was coming from, it was just the T.V. But why was Rex howling? And why was the TV on? He walked into the room and calmed Rex down. Simon climbed on to the sofa and Rex bounded up on there too they huddled there for a few minuets waiting for it all to go away but it seemed like hours it took and mum still wasn’t home then out of the corner of his eye Simon saw a person but it was only faint.
Boom
It all went black.

“Simon, Simon.” His mother called to him “oh Simon you and Rex were asleep. I’m sorry I took so long there was a huge traffic jam.”
“Don’t worry mum its fine I just felt a bit tired.” at this point he didn’t want to worry his parents ,anyway they would probably tell him not to be so silly but was it just a dream? Was it his mind playing tricks on him? But if it isn’t why do these things not want him to go there? Why?
