absit Chapter 3
                      absit
                        3

It was around 9:30 when I sat down to read the

files I flipped on my overhead light in my desk and set

the file down in front of me, the file wasn’t to thick

but was labeled:

                Sharon and Abby Gram
                    Missing bodies

And then inside the folder I could see a tab marked

Frank that’s it a red tag named frank.. I presume that

was the caretaker’s name. I stared at the label on the

folder for a long time, no one had said my wives name

in quite a long time I don’t think any of the people I

really talk to have said he name at all since she died

or maybe all I heard was your wife, I know I for one

haven’t said or even thought of it, I know I should

move on and live but I just cant let go of Abby, I

think never hearing or saying her name was part of my

“healing” process, how horrid is that try to forget the

ones you love, yah I am.. was a good husband. Well what

can I do I can’t join them, all I can do is remember

them and let them live through me, and probably after I

look at this file I might even hunt down that monster

and become a Vigilante, there is only so far revenge

can take you, then you have to change what you call it.

I open the file and began to read the report. 4 hours

later I had finally gotten to the pictures section, the

files had said that Sharon’s and Abby’s bodies had been

exhumed and taken from Mount Hope cemetery with no foot

prints or anything again no evidence, the next file the

thick one on Frank was a little bit more interesting

hell what am I talking about it was a hell of a lot

more interesting and disturbing. I now understand why

Wess looked so sick, the body was found in the middle

of the cemetery covered in blood, franks blood, their

was a pentacle and some writing around the outer circle

the writing read:

Awaken the age less one the dark force that lives may

he rise and bleed those around us arise may the gods

bring him to me

One of the officers recognized the writing as runic but

didn’t know what it said so they sent for some one to

translate. When it was translated it read:

Awaken the age less one the dark force that lives may

he rise and bleed those around us

arise may the gods bring him to me

Franks body was laying face up in the spread eagle

position, he laid inside the pentacle with his throat

wrists and wrists cut open, his shirt was torn open and

their was more runic cut into his flesh this time it

read:

Take this body and consume its essence ravage the

corporeal body sap his metaphysical prowess, may his

body and soul fuel your black heart

Translation:

Take this body and consume its essence ravage the

corporeal body sap his metaphysical prowess, may his

body and soul fuel your black heart

It frightened me to think that whoever had Sharon’s and

Abby’s bodies were doing “black magic” with them… damn

cult fanatics. I began to look at the photographs and I

noticed there was a lot more blood then there should

have been, it was odd, all that blood yet no foot

prints nothing still nothing. I flipped through all the

pictures and their was nothing that could be used as

evidence in the pictures. I decided that I was going to

go to the cemetery and look around for myself, damn the

fact that I shouldn’t be on the scene of a crime

including my own family, and as for Wess giving me the

files, I would have found out about the graves anyway

so Wess is still safe at least…
