When you are looking for someone who has disapperared that person soon stops being themselves. Instead they become an impossibly glamorous version of someone you used to know. Each time you post about them they become a little less like the person you used to know and become more wonderful but also less real. An added complication is that a disappeared person cannot simply be living in Artane or in Wood Green paying a mortgage. |If someone had disappeared you have to believe that they did it to do something more interesting. At the very least they ought to be in Greece farming goats or on an Ashram in India or maybe living in Mexico with the Zapatistas.

It almost hurt Cait to try to remember the Niamh she had known. No matter how she tried she could not imagine what Niamh was doing now.
