Riptide

"As waves hurdling prophecy become notes that tumble
through space and time, the ocean of genres takes its
place. It is the beginning of danger. When the sea
of brilliant calamities takes it toll. When seaweed
chokes the memory and you dare not admit to a single
mistake. I follow the boardwalk, dazed, and worry
about losing my life in the rip tide. As if the sea
warns me I hear it whisper: 'words are fatal, just be
content with the sun'."
