Faded Pictures
Memories untold
I can here them
They torture my soul
And warms it
Like summer’s eve dawns
Kisses of light
Vague and abstract
Circle about like
Shadows of the moon and
The earth’s revolutions
Around my head
What do they mean?
What do I mean?
What does anything mean?
Anymore

Rose petals
Fit for potpourri
Holding on to a certain potency
Letters, browning through time
Yet, her thoughts still fresh
As fresh as her emotions
And worth the same

Paint runs dry
Chips and falls to the floor
If all fall
Do a thousand words remain?
Somewhere
Hidden in the breeze and drafts
Of the past?

Black and White
Innocence in a nutshell
Turns gray as pictures
Start to fade

To understand my words, you must first understand my mind. Balik737
