The Waiting Game

Oh happy day...

I glow yellow!!! OMG, I can't believe my case is now yellow, that I've jumped up on the IM list into the preferred author's list. This just makes my 2008 so much better.

So for anyone who helped get me here, I am forever grateful. I love being on this site, it is truly a gift and inspiration for me. My writing technique has drastically imporved since joining in May 2007, and it's all because of the wonderful people here on WDC.

Ah, a snow day. Kids are snuggled warm in their beds, and have no idea that school is closed. I got up, had a text from my sister telling me schools were closed, but didn't believe it. Why? Because it only looks like a few inches out my window at 6am. I am not used to school closing because we are supposed to get a bunch of snow, usually we have to have at least a half a foot on the ground and it still has to be coming down.

This will certainly make things interesting at the garage. Poor hubby, as if he doesn't work hard enough, will now have to work harder, in the snow, to get those cars running so we don't have to PUSH them into the bay. I hate that. My thighs are usually screaming the next day. Frickin cars/trucks are heavy machinery. This wouldn't be so bad if we had an employee. Ours has issues, he says back problems, went to the doctor, then the hospital and had an MRI. So he calls on Thursday and says he'll be in when his back warms up--well I'm still waiting.
