I spent the day in respiratory therapy with Donny, Laci and Tracey. There were only two patients today, so we weren't very busy.

I learned how to change out oxygen tanks, what all the bottons and knobs are for on the tabletop pulse oximeter, and I got to watch a man being suctioned and lavaged.

We spent most of the day in ICU, and we got to go to OB and see a newborn 3-pound baby. Wow! What a tiny little thing! We came really close to seeing a c-section, but it didn't work out. Dang it!

Oh, well. Maybe next semester.
