The Beach

I am lying on the white sand
relaxing near the chilly
turquoise waters of the beach
I listen to the seagulls
and watch the slow rising of the sunrise
I am the only one there
relaxing in the solitude of the beach
The sun casts pink and orange
over everything in its path as it rises
slowly in the orange sky
The seagulls strut across the sand
and the waves gently break onto the sand.
I smell familiar smell of the salty ocean, as it wafts through the ocean air
I lie down, relaxing in the solitude and quietness of the beach.
