It has been my experience that, from time to time, I feel like I am carrying around an especially heavy load. I don't think I have ever been clinically depressed in my life. But there are times, when I don't feel I have a full appreciation for how good it is to be involved with life.

Tonight is one of those times.

I know what it is. I have to get up at 3:00 am to catch a plane. I will be on the road for 11 of the next 12 days. I will travel about 10,000 miles on 10 different airplanes. I feel like a passenger on the longer bus ride in the world.

This week is a high pressure project that I must wrap up this week. Next week is the start of a new project. New people, new situations...the only realyl stressful part is the first 10 minutes. Then we are old friends...

I like to grab a couple of prompts before I hit the road. I then use the time on the plane to write.

Lately, I have been trying to get back to my book. My goal is to write 1,000 words on the book before I can write anything else.

A word to the wise...when writing a book, stop before the well goes dry. That makes it easier to restart.

Off to bed.
