Mix and Match

I know many of you find the blog peeker facility annoying and turn it off, but I admit to being quite fascinated by it. I enjoy reading just the first line of each blog peeker and am often quite amused by the combination some of them make when linked together. Maybe I’m too inquisitive, weird or should get a life. Of course many blogs on the list begin with the same, unoriginal line ‘This blog’s latest entry is private,’ which also amuses me as one click and I can read the entry in full. Anyway, as an experiment I present you with what seems to be a typical WDC week of blog entries. All the sentences are from first lines of blogs presently listed, lifted without permission admittedly, but you’d have to do a lot of research to prove it.


Wow, this thing is ridiculously out-dated. Sorry for my recent absence from Blogville. Almost an eternity has past since I wrote in this blog. Okay, I did not have a totally blue month. A couple of weeks ago, the hard drive on my laptop got full again.

There has been some concern as to whether I am all right. As you know, I have bipolar disorder. I got that damn bronchitis AGAIN!!! Wow! You would think I could shake this sinus headache soon. I've been getting ridiculously dizzy lately and sleeping a lot. I'm sneezing and wheezing and freezing. I don’t know when it happened but I suddenly got a case of spring-cleaning fever. I just don't feel like myself lately. I swear to God some times people make me ill. The verdict is in, and I'm pregnant.

There's just been too much going on to even be here. Wow! So much is happening in my life right now I can barely keep up. Too much stuff has happened; don't feel like explaining any of it. These days I don't have much to say; possibly that is the result of taking antidepressants.

Well, I guess it's time for a bit of what's going on for me. My friend Susanah had her foal on Friday. Down on the farm we do things a bit different than everyone else. We've been experiencing some crazy weather.So things got really hectic but the major gist of it is that I quit my Pizza job to go back to work at the newspaper. Flossie worked at a nice speed for me today; not too fast nor too slow. So, I'm going to talk to Garry when I see him again next Monday. I bought an artichoke at the grocery store last week. My life sucks; my life stinks so badly.

Yesterday proved to be one of my most productive writing days in some time. I have gathered my material for the next book, first chapter and will begin to write it soon. I have done some major house cleaning in my port. Just entered the flash fiction with an open prompt. I am still working on finding a publisher. I currently have a blog on myspace so that explains why I've been so silent on this one. My life is too busy to be keeping two blogs. I'm trying to become a more active member on this site. Check out my new story. Sometimes I get so sick and tired of having to prove myself as a writer. I don't know why some people bother reviewing my work.

I've been in a bit of a confusing place lately, on several matters of importance. I am slowly going crazy. Starting to feel a tad out of touch with reality. Don't spray white wine vinegar on your plants to kill whiteflies (or greenflies). It will also kill your plants. Would you rather be burned alive or buried alive? African Violets have a reputation for being picky, but they seem to be able to tolerate me. I hear how organic meat is better.

Well time is marching on and so is my life. I have been thinking lately about leaving here. I can't seem to focus on anything right now. There are days when I have nothing to say. I miss my muse, my creativity. Everything has changed around here lately. I am taking a break from writing here for a while. Hey, someone gifted me an upgrade. It's official, you are going to have me to kick around for yet another year.
