Homeward Bound

Goodbye Little Rock....Nice town but not home.

I will get to United's domestic terminal five minutes before my wife and stepson arrive at the international terminal. By the time they clear customs, I should be waiting for them. A surprise.

When Erika (wife) is in town, I don't write nearly as much. Since we only see each other for 2 out of 8 weeks...she gets all of my attention.

I hope to finish the first draft of The Wilds on the flight home. I am nearly there...I just don't want to end it. I think I have a good ending in mind that will make a reader wonder "What's going to happen next?" I like writing stories like that. It makes me wonder the same thing....so I write another chapter...that is how my 2,000 word story has grown into 5,000.
