PATRIOTIC SEASON

  Every year I get especially patriotic just before Memorial Day and stay that way through Flag Day, Independence Day, up until Labor Day. And it works out that red, white and blue are great summer colors.
  I want to encourage everyone to remember what freedom costs and to hold our American ideals in high regard. History is not outdated information. It tells us who we are and how we got here and what we have to do to keep that of which we are proud.
  I am unapologetically corny. So here's a patriotic song for you:
