Have you ever had a stress test?  I had my first one today, a "simple stress test."  They hook you up to electrodes while you walk a treadmill, which increases in both speed and incline slowly and steadily, while at the same time they are monitoring your heart rate and blood pressure.  I did very well.  My heart seems to be in very good shape.  Thank you, Lord.

I spoke with my eighty-eight year old Grandma Ruby today.  She recently fell twice while going from the bed to the bathroom.  She dislocated her shoulder in the first fall, and in the second she broke her nose.  She is steadily getting better, undergoing physical therapy exercises on a daily basis.  She has been in a nursing home for almost a year now, in Ohio.  Thankfully, my uncle lives nearby and visits her regularly.  I haven't seen her since July 2007.  I look forward to visiting her sometime in 2008, or at the very least in 2009.

All is well.  I hope everyone has a pleasant weekend.  May God protect and bless His people across the U.S. and throughout the rest of this world, as well.
