[NOTICE] Screen Width = Fluid
We've set the screen width on Writing.Com to be "fluid". Rather than be confined to a rather small width, Writing.Com's content area will now expand to use the full width of your web browser. The size we had originally picked in 2000 was based on the average monitor size. I've been viewing the site with this new change for about 6 months and felt it was time to move it to the site as whole.

** UPDATE: The Content Width setting in your My Account -> Edit Preferences area allows members to set the width of their pages. The default is now set to "Fluid - To Browser Edge". Content Width is an existing account value, so if your content is not fluid, it is probable that you have the old value already set.

** UPDATE (9/20 @ 11:30pm): Ok, completely fluid to browser's edge can be a bit crazy looking for those who fully open their browser on a widescreen monitor. *Wink* As such, I've adjusted the default to be fluid to a maximum of about 1,200 pixels total browser width. The "Fluid - To Edge of Browser" is still there, but as an additional option rather than the default...
