My daughter is recovering from her surgery -- a full hysterectomy to relieve the constant driving pain of endometriosis.  She is back to the vibrant, alive, alert, creative girl I remember rearing.  We've said good-bye to the weary, worn, tired, sleepy, haggard person she had become.  I'm glad to have my healthy daughter back.  She gets the staples removed from her tummy on Monday.  After a five-week recovery period she will be back to work and on to Nursing School.

Thank you, Lord, for giving me such a smart, talented and unique daughter.

I hope you are feeling the cooler, gentle embrace of fall, with all the beauty that comes with this wonderful season!

Until we meet again, may the Lord bless you and keep you, may his face shine upon you and give you enduring, everlasting peace!
