         Hello there, friends.

         I went to a Birthday Party yesterday.  My oldest grandson turned seven.  We watched he, his brother and friends play at a swimming pool throughout the afternoon.  It's comforting to watch children play---all the energy and excitement---especially when they're surrounded by the safety net of friends and family. 

         My husband and I attended the final hearing on our dissolution of marriage Friday morning... Sad, yet happy at the same time because I am getting my maiden name back, and just because we're no longer married, doesn't mean we've stopped loving each other.  We still spend a significant time together.

         A childhood friend of mine recently found out his father has pancreatic cancer.  Also, my sister's mother-in-law has breast cancer.  We covet your prayers. 

         Yesterday they held a "race for the cure" of breast cancer in downtown St. Petersburg, raising a good bit of money.
