         Thank you, Christopher Columbus, for discovering America ---- and for an extra day off! 

         I had my grandsons on Saturday.  We took a trip to Philippe Park in Safety Harbor -- a beautiful park, one of the prettiest I know of in the Tampa Bay area.  We had a nice picnic lunch and took an adventure hike --- first to a playground and then around a portion of the park.  The boys were on their worst behavior --- bratty.  Their mom confirmed because they've been off school for three-and-a-half days --- the weekend and parent-teacher conferences at their school --- they've been brats at home too --- an abundance of energy and not enough release.  I usually get them every Saturday and keep them most of the day, but I'm seriously considering a few weeks off.

         I plan to take a nice bike ride here in a few minutes after I check the schedule at my gym.  If they have a yoga class this morning, I'll go to the gym and take a bike ride this evening.  Yes, its still quite hot in St. Petersburg.
