Due to economics, our Law Firm is not having a Christmas Party this year. (This is the first year since I've been here --- 1996 to present --- that our Christmas Party was cancelled.) Sad, but understandable. Lord willing we will still receive bonuses.
My boss just left the office. His mother is elderly and in the hospital. He's been driving back and forth to the hospital for the past two weeks. His father died right after Christmas last year.
