         Hello.  Because we have a big trial right after Christmas and my parents couldn't make it here next week, they won't be coming down until the first part of February.  =( 

         This year is the first year the staff didn't get bonuses from the law firm.  No Christmas party, not even a cocktail party...  However, we were each given a $100.00 gift card as a token of appreciation.  I overheard a conversation that made my heart ache just a little --- not worth repeating.  God knows.  God sees.  God hears.  God cares.  My hope, trust, dependence is in God who can and will do all things for the good of them who love Him and are called according to His purpose.  Thankfully, that includes me.

         Despite everything, I'm looking forward to a very Merry Christmas, indeed.  I have just a bit of shopping left to do for my grandsons, then let the celebration of our Lord's birth and the festivities with family begin.
